Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Flywheel handles information when you use Reader Viewer.

Browsing data on your device

Tabs, bookmarks, browsing history, downloads, settings, and user scripts are stored on your device by default and are not synced to a Flywheel account. Uninstalling the app normally removes data stored in its app sandbox.

Websites and search services

Reader Viewer is a browser. URLs, searches, and page requests are sent to the websites, search engines, and network providers you choose. Those third parties process related information under their own policies.

Flywheel services

App Clip experiences, runtime configuration, page continuation, notifications, purchases, credits, entitlement restoration, and essential diagnostics may send Flywheel the app code, bundle ID, app and system versions, language or region, random device or anonymous identifiers, session or event identifiers, attribution parameters, APNs tokens, and purchase or order information. These requests do not upload local bookmarks, complete browsing history, downloaded files, or user scripts as their content.

Biometrics and notifications

Face ID and Touch ID templates remain with iOS and the Secure Enclave. Reader Viewer does not receive them. If notifications are allowed, the app sends its APNs token, bundle ID, push environment, and necessary device identifier to Flywheel so notifications can reach the current installation.

Ads and Reader Web

The App Store Release build does not contain Google Mobile Ads or User Messaging Platform and does not request ads. Web experiences opened inside Reader Viewer may provide analytics or advertising features under the privacy notice shown in Reader Web settings.
